Two Screens for All SF Public School Teachers

Today we’re giving monitors to every San Francisco public school teacher who needs one. There are about 3,200 public school teachers in San Francisco so this is a $360,000 gift. Read the TechCrunch article.

We’re also honored to be at the top of GeekWire’s list of good things that happened in 2020.

We’ve purchased more than 20,000 monitors for teachers in the last 100 days — but the COVID winter has spiked our teacher demand and we now have more than 165,000 teachers waiting for monitors.

We need donors who are hometown heroes to sponsor an entire city or state. You can see where teachers are waiting on our teacher map:

We’re not willing to write off public education until everyone is vaccinated. We’re asking large donors to partner with us and smaller donors to buy a teacher a monitor. Together we can help teachers and students start 2021 strong.

Thanks for your support!
