Teachers deserve two screens.

With an extra monitor, teachers see more students’ faces when they teach online.

Why two screens?

Teachers can put their students on one screen and lesson plans on another.

“When I asked the IT technician at our school to visit classrooms and watch how teachers used technology, the first thing he recommended was a second monitor.

Now that we’re teaching online because of COVID, the second monitors are lifesavers. Imagine trying to run a Zoom call, a presentation, and a learning management system simultaneously on a 13” laptop screen? It's almost impossible.

If you have the means, please donate a second screen to a teacher. And please support increased funding for K-12 education nationally and in your state so that teachers always have the tools they need to do their jobs professionally.”

Deborah Lowe, Principal - Humanitas Academy of Art and Technology, a Los Angeles public school.

How it works

Teachers: Fill out a short form and we’ll match you with a donor. We’ll guide you through picking the adapter to connect the monitor to your computer.

Donors: Fill out a short form and we’ll match you with a teacher. A 23” monitor costs about $150. You’ll order it and have it shipped to the teacher’s school.

A second monitor can improve online productivity 20-30% (NYTimes) and lasts 10-20 years (Techwalla).

Mr. Brown

“I never would have survived last Spring without a second monitor. It’s transformative to go from one to two monitors and I hope everyone who doesn't have one takes you up on the offer. “

Ms. Blackman

“I can’t wait to get my new monitor. I can take attendance on one screen and see students on the other. Plus, the monitor will be easier on my eyes and I won’t have to hunch over to see my laptop.”
